BALE OPENER
The first opening and blending of the fibers is an essential step in the production of nonwovens. With over 30 years of experience in blending line’s production and more than 600 installations, M.T.V. bale openers turn out to be among the most reliable and safe machines in the production lines.
Our bale opener allows to obtain unique and innovative performances in the first opening and correct weighing of the fibers. Thanks to the extensive experience we have gained, these machines prove to be extremely versatile and adaptable to any situation. In fact, we have studied and optimized various configurations to meet every work requirement with high performances.
CA SERIES
Our CA bale opener is based on the classic automatic opening function of pressed fiber bales. It is composed of a reinforced steel structure which includes a feeder table, that allows the bale of material to be manually positioned and overturned over a frame made of PVC or with steel boards. The material is then conveyed to a vertical spiked table, which picks it up and unloads it inside a weighing scale. The dosage takes place through the combination of a cleaning cylinder and an unloading cylinder, capable of creating the optimal conditions for a first opening and correct weighing. Finally, the material is unloaded onto a hopper connected to a launch fan in order to be transferred to other stations of the line.
This machine can be equipped to enhance its working autonomy, taking advantage of an extension of the frame that gives the possibility to prepare different bales, which will then be automatically conveyed towards the spiked table.
The true potential of the CA bale opener lies in grouping multiple machines in parallel, creating a station line that allows for blending fibers with high precision and production capacity.
CA-S SERIES
With its compactness and constructive simplicity, the CA-S bale opener meet one of the most important requests in nonwoven lines, i.e. the need to reduce the overall dimensions. This may become necessary in the event that there are restrictions in the available spaces, or in case of requests with reduced production capacities and costs.
In this case as well, the machine can be equipped to extend its working autonomy by taking advantage of an extension of the input conveyor, providing the ability to prepare various bales, which will then be automatically conveyed towards the spiked table.
CA-B SERIES
Our CA-B bale opener has been developed for applications that require temporary storage of fibers before feeding downstream machines. it consists of a reinforced steel structure, including an air-fiber separator and an initial storage box. Fibers are conveyed inside the box and automatically transported to a vertical spiked table, which picks them up and unloads them inside hopper connected to a launch fan in order to be transferred to other stations on the line. The dosage takes place through the combination of a cleaning cylinder and an unloading cylinder, capable of creating the optimal conditions for a second opening and blending of the fibers.
